Host an Exhibition at a Community Venue
It is simple, first just contact us to arrange dates. We send you the photos, banners, signs, voting slips etc with provide coverage on our website.
We would be very interested in running a local competition at the same time as you hosting an exhibition - we would be able to support you in this.
You provide venue, display boards, and cover costs of returning the exhibition to us.
You need to provide:
- Display board space. At least ten square metres of carpeted wall or display board space on which to attach the photos. Allow sufficient space for standing room in front of wall or around free-standing display boards for voters to view the photos. Each photo has Velcro on the back which attaches to, then detaches easily from flat carpet-like or firm cloth surfaces. These surfaces are often be found on display stands, partitions or walls in schools & conference centres.
- Table for voting box and space for people to fill in voting slips
- Attendants - if possible - to give out free people’s choice voting slips to the public. They also act as security that the photos are not taken, or marked with icecream fingers etc. An extra and often very positive role for the attendant is to listen to people’s stories and encourage the positive times of men with our children. Tips for attendants are included.
- Cover costs of returning the exhibition to us.
Thanks Dad Photos provides:
- Large material ‘Thanks Dad Photos’ sign inviting people to vote for their favourite photo with details. This sign folds around the box for being couriered to you
- Solid plastic box (40x20x 30cm) which doubles as the voting box.
- Photos are in the above box. Photos are on cardboard backing sheet and vary between postcard and A4 size. Each photo has a small piece of Velcro on the top right and left hand corner on the back.
What is your next step - Contact Thanks Dad Photos with the proposed dates for your local exhibition. Together we will make the arrangements then sign a simple agreement before sending the exhibition to you.
